MAT PILATES - AUTHENTIC MOVEMENT
Pilates is hardCORE, authentic and genuine fitness. There is nothing like it. Pure pilates will be practiced on our mats, with our body weight and the usage of various tools. Once learned and achieved, your pilates practice will become the center and the foundation for all of your movement, training, sport, and events. Breathing practice and mind body connection are developed. These tools, along with a core that cannot be challenged will take your mental and physical game, whether it is in sport or in life, to a new level. Please bring your mat. All fitness levels and ages encouraged, modifications and progressions will be offered.
WHAT DO I BRING?
BRING - your yoga/Pilates mat, ToeSox if you have them, water & towel.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
WEAR - comfortable workout clothes. Pilates is a barefoot practice, although ToeSox are recommended. Wear layers if you are sensitive to getting warm or cold.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
EXPECT - a form of exercise that increases your flexibility, improves your alignment & enhances your breathing. Concentrated stretching and breathwork will improve mindfulness and facilitate relaxation.
