And I believe the best version of you is built on purpose – one choice at a time.
I’ve been in the fitness industry since 1998, but my journey started long before that. I grew up in a family that loved food, sports, and movement. I remember early mornings doing workout videos before school, swimming and playing water polo, running in college, and learning firsthand that if I wanted to feel strong and confident – I had to keep moving.
Movement became more than exercise. It became identity. Discipline. Joy.
My family, faith, mentors, friends – and even brief encounters with strangers – have shaped who I am. The wisdom I’ve been given, I feel called to pass on.
Thousands of classes taught. Personal training clients in my garage. An amazing husband. Two incredible kids. A dream written in a notebook in 2006 about creating something “more than a workout.”
That dream became The Energy Lab.
What do I love most? Inspiring people to step outside their comfort zone and realize they are capable of more. I see it in cycling when a room moves as one. I feel it in TRX and Pilates when strength clicks. I witness it in bootcamp teamwork and quiet tai chi flow. I love the moment someone stands up taller – mentally, physically, emotionally – and knows they did something hard.
This isn’t just fitness.
It’s building a life worth telling a story about.
