Alex brings a lifelong passion for running and performance to The Energy Lab, backed by years of experience both as an athlete and a coach. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Alex made the move to Southern California over a decade ago, trading rain for sunshine and continuing to pursue an active, performance-driven lifestyle.
With a background in healthcare and a love for endurance sports, Alex has spent years immersed in the world of running – from competing in track during high school to completing marathons and races of every distance in between. Running has always been more than just exercise; it’s a blend of physical and mental strength, discipline, and the confidence that comes from crossing the finish line.
That passion led Alex to become an RRCA Certified Running Coach, working with athletes one-on-one and in group settings, both in person and virtually. Alex has helped runners of all levels – from first-time racers to Boston Marathon qualifiers – achieve personal bests, build confidence, and reach meaningful health and performance goals.
Always looking to evolve and take on new challenges, Alex has expanded into hybrid training and racing, earning Hyrox Performance Coaching credentials. At The Energy Lab, Alex brings a unique blend of endurance expertise and hybrid performance training, helping athletes push their limits, train with purpose, and discover what they’re truly capable of.
